Last week Zep UK attended the Hotels, Restaurants and Catering 2022 event as Hygiene and Cleaning Partner, held at ExCel in London. We joined over 1500 other suppliers across a wide variety of sectors and thousands of other attendees.

As hygiene and cleaning partner, we supplied hand-sanitising units around the event floor and provided the brilliant chefs and those partaking in the International Salon Culinaire with cleaning products, in which an award was given to the chef with the cleanest workstation by Anthony Cannon, Zep UK’s Corporate Accounts Manager.

At the Zep stand, we presented our new Proof of Clean system, with video on show to demonstrate how the products will work, how effective they will be, and how they will help to keep workspaces cleaner and safer.We also provided information on a number of cleaning and hygiene products, including Q1 Glass Cleaner and Q9 Grill and Oven Cleaner, which were given as samples to those interested in Zep products.

Chris Burnett, UK & IE Country Manager, stated that “ innovations, including solid dish wash, rinse free floor car and non-caustic oven cleaner, were well received by those attending. The unique approach from Zep, by surveying a customer to present a proposal with products to fix challenges rather than matching products on a list brought create success at the event, and being the hygiene and cleaning partner at the show allowed us to provide the trainee to expert chefs with the provisions to ensure cleanliness throughout the show”.

Zep UK is set to attend a number of other trade shows this year, including Railtex in May, Hillhead in June and Screwfix Live in September.
