Liquid Heat Drain Unblocker

Our professional strength formulas are all safe for plastic pipes.

1. If the sink is full of water remove as much as possible before using the product.
2. Pour ½ of the bottle directly into the plughole. Rinse excess from the plughole if possible.
3. Leave to work for at least 1 hour – ideally overnight.
4. Pour hot water down the drain to free any remaining residue.
5. If the drain is still not completely clear, repeat above steps.

Important: Do not mix with other chemicals.

It may be beneficial to instead use our Pro Strength Drain Unblocker which has been specifically formulated to pour through standing water to get straight to the source of the blockage.

We would not recommend these products within a septic tank system. The Liquid Heat is a concentrated caustic-based product, and the 10 Minute Hair Clog Remover is similar, with the inclusion of bleach.
Both bleach and caustic can kill bacteria within the septic ecosystem.

Toilets need to be unblocked using mechanical action (that is a plunger or a professional plumber). There is a water level within the toilet so by the time the chemicals within Zep’s Liquid Heat get to the blockage it would unfortunately be too diluted to unblock. The mix of product and water sat within the bowl would still be corrosive. This means that when it is later unblocked there is a danger from the corrosive chemical to the person unblocking and from spillage.
